Finding the best G-Shocks on the market is no easy job. We had to take into consideration several aspects in order to decide whether a watch is worth getting on the end list. As always, the price is an important term when you decide to make a purchase. While we included G-Shocks from multiple price categories we didn’t go to the extremes; nothing too cheap or too expensive (with a single exception of the MTG G-Shock at number 8).

You might already know that a watch that doesn’t fit well on your wrist is like a pair of shoes two sizes smaller/larger than what you regularly wear. You don’t want that, so this is why we took into consideration the vital aspect of comfort and overall experience for a daily user.
3. Construction/Quality
Cheap materials are one of the first causes of watch failure. Especially in the case of a G-Shock where it is supposed to be worn by an active person, the quality aspect of the materials will sooner or later be a concern. If the materials are of bad quality the watch is already not worth it. Again, we tried to include the models with the best quality/price ratio, and of course, some models where the quality is such that makes them very desirable.
4. Popularity
You might ask yourself why that would be a shootout term? Well simply because popular watches are also watches that passed through tens of thousands of hands before yours. And the customers reported both the pleasant and less pleasant aspects, so you get a much better grasp of what to expect from the watch. Also repairing or finding accessories for a popular G-Shock is much less of a pain in the butt.

The GN1000B Gulfmaster is one of the best choices you can make in terms of quality return for the money. While you can buy a better quality version, the GWN1000B which you can find bellow, this version is cheaper. Overall this is one of the best G-Shocks in this price range.

3. G-Shock GXW-56-1 “The King”
This is one of the biggest G-Shocks you will find. It comes with a square case and definitely outstanding looks that will get you a lot of attention. Since the release of this G-Shock I would have expected from Casio to set a higher price tag for it since they paid a lot of celebrities to advertise it, but surprisingly it is very affordable. If you want the biggest and the best G-Shock then the “King” is a pretty good option.

If you want a top of the line experience, then you might want to try the newest Gulfmaster GWN1000B G-Shock. It is made out of high-quality materials and it features top-notch specifications. This is a watch for those who do not accept compromises in terms of quality and toughness.

The metal twisted MTG-S1000 is a timepiece that brings to the table style as a monstrosity. It is a big G-Shock that will not go unnoticed and it uses the newest technologies from Casio. It comes in a bulky case made of twisted metal that will resist most shocks and scratches. This is definitely one of the best G-Shocks with a metal case in the price range.

While a cheap G-Shock, the G100-1BV is a great deal in terms of value for the money. It is true you won’t get a lot of things for this price but overall if you want a modest G-Shock with an analog-digital display then this a good choice. This is considered to be one of the best, if not the best G-Shock when speaking of affordability and return for your money.
